Aquarius Home & Health

Possible characteristics of an Aquarius child

Aquarius is the eleventh star sign in the Zodiac and its element is air. Some of the characteristics of people with this star sign are quite different to any of the other signs. As a baby you may notice that they are lively and ‘on the ball’, and that they respond well to other people. You might also see that they are easily distracted and do not appreciate clothing or bedding that does not allow them to be ‘free’. Knowing that you are near, some Aquarian babies like a bit of time to themselves!

As they begin to get older you might see that they walk and talk before other babies of the same age. However, they might not understand what is and isn’t dangerous and so need guidance so that they can quickly learn not to get themselves into tricky situations or situations in which they could hurt themselves. As toddlers you may see that they are already keen to understand how the world works and how things fit together (this will include both physical and technical stuff).

From a  young age you may see your Aquarian child start to develop a real thirst for knowledge. However, when they feel that they know ‘enough’ about a given subject, they will quickly move on and probably start learning about something else. As they start to develop their logical side they will probably start to enjoy debate (and maybe even arguments!).

It is important to note that the exact characteristics of your child (and how strong each characteristic is), will very much depend on the position of both the moon and other planets when your child was born.

Health and Eating

The body parts associated with the Aquarius star sign are the circulatory system and the lower legs (ankles, calves and shins). When stresses, some Aquarians can develop pains in the lower legs and may be susceptible to problems in these areas. Additionally, some Aquarians suffer from problems related to the blood including high blood pressure from stress.

Please note: The following is NOT professional dietary advice.

The food substance that is particularly important for Aquarians is sodium chloride (also known as salt – the type we put on foods). However, too much salt can be extremely bad for the body, and it is never recommended that anyone eats too many salty foods or adds salt to their food. Some natural sources of sodium chloride include fruits such as apples, dates, oranges and pineapples, vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage and lettuce, whole wheat, almonds, chicken, veal, tuna and yoghurt.
