Libra’s ruling planet is Venus and it’s element is Air. Love and the desire for love has a tremendous impact on a Libran, particularly in their younger years. In their teens they have a very idealistic approach to love, constantly on the lookout for Mr (or Ms) Right. As the years go on, they soon realise that this idealistic outlook has many shortcomings.
Bad experiences can even make them become disillusioned, and it almost always has a powerful impact on how the rest of their lives unfold. Through all this, they have a tremendous ability to appear untroubled. Like some of the other star signs in the zodiac, Librans can blank out the rest of the world and look deep within themselves. Even the people closest to a Libra may never understand the true depths of their personality.
Librans usually end up leading quite unique and sometimes slightly unusual lives when their real life falls short of what they imagined. Some Librans make a fundamental mistake by taking the first thing that comes their way instead of waiting for a better offer. This can particularly be a problem when it comes to relationships and business partnerships. On the other hand, Librans that get into good partnerships (either romantically or in business), really do live the dream. They will most probably be living life to the fullest!
When it hasn’t worked out for a Libran, they may well have been better off never entering into the partnership in the first place. The saying “Once bitten and twice shy” is applicable to many Librans. When they have got out of a difficult relationship or a business partnership has turned sour, it is highly likely that they will never enter into another relationship or partnership again.
Usually Librans are not good at listening, and things that they are told can go straight over their heads. They are sometimes good people to tell secrets to, because they probably weren’t paying full attention and forgot what you said five minutes after you told them! Although they like to have healthy relationships with other people, they feel that it is very important to express themselves. This can cause conflicts of interest, particularly in the working environment. Librans are strongest in job roles that allow them to make their own decisions whilst operating under the umbrella of an organisation.
In terms of confidence, there are two different types of Libra. One is unconfident and timid, whilst the other is a natural leader. Both types have good diplomacy skills and natural charm. Nonetheless, some people still struggle to understand Librans and their actions. Although they know what they stand for and like to see fairness, Librans sometimes struggle to challenge other people.
Creative and experimental. Two words which aptly describe the romantic life of a Libran. However, these two words aren’t necessarily associated with faithfulness! You’ll find many Librans, even those who are in relationships, to be extremely flirty. Their charm is endearing and powerful, and draws in romantic partners, business partners and friends.
Libras can make great business leaders; they don’t show their tougher side until they need to. Some people get lured into a false sense of security when they have a Libran boss. When it comes to making decisions or giving the business direction, they won’t hesitate. However, they are happy to relax a little when things are going well.
A negative for many Libran businesspeople is that they don’t handle stress to well. Refining their management skills and taking a little more time to make decisions will help to keep stress levels low.
