Possible characteristics of a Virgo child

Virgo is the sixth star sign in the Zodiac, and it is considered an Earth sign. From a reasonably young age, efficiency and good organisation are essential to most Virgos. They are also quite alert and don’t often to ‘miss a trick’. It is likely that they will pick up on the little details, such as patterns and colours in bedclothes and bed sheets. Virgos tend to feel more in control when they know they haven’t missed something and they can choose what they want to focus their attention on (without feeling like they are missing out).

It is important to note that the exact characteristics of your child (and how strong each characteristic is), will very much depend on the position of both the moon and other planets when your child was born.

As a parent you will probably find that your Virgo baby knows what he or she likes. They’ll know when you get things right, and they don’t usually like messy rooms or items out of place. Routine is essential for a Virgo child, and structure may actually help them to become more adaptable. It might be a very good idea to teach your child that it’s not ‘the end of the world’ when something is done incorrectly (either by themselves or someone else).

Virgo children are often quick to pick up on things, including your feelings. However, they sometimes suffer from overstimulation so be sure not to give them too much to play with if this is the case. Nice calm and relaxing colours and toys will help them to stay relaxed and not go into ‘overdrive’.

Health and Eating

The parts of the body associated with Virgos are their nervous systems and their digestive systems (which are interconnected in certain ways). When a Virgo becomes stressed or worried they can start to encounter digestive problems. If they are feeling like this, it is a good idea to eat plain, natural foods that are ‘easy’ on the digestive system.

Potassium sulphate is particularly important for Virgos, as it helps to regulate oil levels in the body. Fatigue is one of the problems that can arise from sever deficiencies. The following foods contain relatively high levels of potassium sulphate: whole grain, fruits such as oranges, apples, bananas and melons, brown rice, cottage cheese and honey.
