Leo’s ruling planet (star) is the Sun, and it’s element is fire. Leos have big expectations for themselves as well as others, and are not happy if these expectations are not met. Like Lions, Leos enjoy being at the ‘top of the food chain’. They prefer to be highly regarded in terms of their professional and working lives. Leos like it when people come to them for help as it makes them feel important.
Ego is certainly important to a Leo, and it helps them to dictate where they live and where they work – their high expectations must be met.
